The “White Nights” cruise ships
The “White Nights” cruise ships were built in Germany in the 1990s to represent the well-known 302- and 301- project generations. These magnificent cruise ships are well built and comply with the strict international standards set out for building large ships. The “White Nights” are currently kept on the Russian Volga, the longest river in Europe.
The 301 “White Nights” cruise ship has seven single cabins and twenty-eight double cabins on the boat level. On the upper level there are six single cabins, thirty double cabins with vertical accommodation and thirty-six normal double cabins. The main level of the “White Nights” has thirteen double cabins with vertical accommodation and thirty-six normal double cabins. The lower level just has nine triple cabins.
The 302 “White Nights” cruise ship has between six and eight single cabins, two deluxe cabins and thirty normal double cabins on the boat level. On the upper level there are sixty double cabins and on the main level there are thirty double cabins. The lower level of the 302-cruise ship has between six and eight triple cabins. All cabins on the “White Nights” cruise ships are fully air-conditioned with picture windows and private facilities.
The “White Nights” are 130 meters long, 16.7 meters wide and are 13.2 meters high. The cruise ships can take a total of 336 passengers at full capacity, but are generally limited to 270 passengers. This maximum limit provides guests on the “White Nights” with further comfort and space expected on a luxury cruise ship. Both the 301 and 302 “White Nights” cruise ships have a conference hall, restaurant, hair salon, sauna, solarium, medical center, laundry, bar and a small boutique. The rate of cruise on both the 302 and 301 “White Nights” cruise ships is 25 km a hour.
There are plenty of activities aboard the “White Nights” to keep guests completely entertained for 12 to 13 days, depending on which cruise you take. Each night guests will be entertained with live music and will have the opportunity to dance late into the night. In one of the bars, on the “White Nights”, there will also be an entertainment program posted, listing alternative activities that will be taking place that particular evening. During the day, guests will have an opportunity to attend classes and lectures about folk music bands, Russian history, Russian language classes and Russian orthodoxy. The “White Nights” cruise ships should definitely be a part of your Russian experience.
