Jutka,,Ask your science teacher to tell you where he stops teaching science to become the devils advocate.Then tell me how your grades turned out in his class.I have a respect for logical science such as used to make an airplane fly.The mistakes are obvious when you test by attempting flight.You either soar like an eagle or crash and burn.But today ,Much of the teaching has the effect of an ego pump.The subject along with logic is less important in evaluation than some failure to cross a T or dot an I.There was a very wise old graduate of Havard who returned years later to speak on this very matter.I do not recall his name I am very sad to report but I found the story in a stack of books from Columbia university.I hope to search out the story in the future as I was very impressed with the old proffessor. As time passes the educators forget that great things on Earth was not built by verbal skills but by great thinkers,planners,engineers and well expirenced craftsmen.I submit this was the case of building the pyramids.Confuseing science and black magic has become the trend due to the educators dependence on gifts by taxpayers for their substance.Let them step out into the real world and smell the roses so they can feel the thorns for themselves.They are becomeing artificial as the paper flowers in a five and dime store.
