in theory, a systematic method of knowing truth and explaining the universe. Therefore no topic should be "taboo" or off limits. Many scientists even in fields such as cosmology refuse to entertain the notion of God, scorning Him as "unscientific". Yet the universe exists, life exists, ideas exist. What is their origin if not God? So if there is no God, science should prove that too, accounting for the universe etc. "We hold these truths to be self evident..." Does "natural law" exist? What is the foundation of ethics? Does "justice" exist? Can you point to it? How much does it weigh? Yet many who adamantly deny the existence of God cry out for justice, demanding it! This same insubstantial entity is sought in every courtroom all over the world, yet it only exists in the mind of the believer.
