Thanks for the recomendations, I shall try and find these.

Things 'Russian' seem to be all the flavour in London at the moment, with exhibitions at the National Gallery and the Bolshoi Ballet at Covent Garden, apart from the football clubs being bought or eyed by Russian buyers

Probably need to remortgage my house to buy a ticket at Covent Garden though

On a slighty different track, can anyone recommend good contemporary Russian writers that might be available in translation (or not, but might be in the future) ? I have read most of Pelevin's books but I don't really know of any contemprary writers of interest, although I suspect this is because, sadly, they have not been translated.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
