It is not true, and I strongly disagree with you...
Slav world does share a lot, and almost everything is common for us... again religion, tradition, language... the eu hasn't got these basic principals, it is likely eu to be in big danger rather that the Slav sojuz...
also when you mentioned Russia, and Russia giving economical and political support to eastern Europe, again here you are wrong, Russia is still recovering and is not standing the chance to give or even help the eastern Europe, because of very simple example, if Russia was able to do so, they wouldn't have allowed any eastern European country to join the EU...
About the sojuz, it has been said by Kremlin official, and they are more optimistic than you, the year they have given is 2016, to begin reforming for the future reunification...
