Sure, Firefox is an OK browser, it is really the community I don't like. All this talk about how I'm an "uneducated" internet user, I mean, how pretentious and annoying can people be?

When IE7 comes out it's going to stomp all over Firefox. I can't wait!
Well, I can't recall sending AOL any money during my life, but to read a post that calls AOL the devil, and in the next sentence promotes the next garbage browser from Microsoft sure did give me a belly laugh that topped the Richter scale.

That was funny. Kind of like the real devil condemning his tail as being the devil.......

To be fair, I can understand why people embrace Microsoft as their cyber-god, since Microsoft managed to built the ultimate modern monopoly before anyone even noticed. AOL, on the other hand, is a total mystery to me. AOL offers nothing at all, but a few worthless proprietary hooks, yet it continues to trick millions of people to pay a premium above their regular broadband charges every year. How does AOL do that? It must cost millions of Dollars to send out all of those coaster disks every year. Maybe P. T. Barnum was right. There is a sucker born every minute.

What can I say? God bless AOL for continuing to convince the daily lineup of suckers that their internet portal is worth the money. Then again, even if AOL does own Firefox, it is licensed under the GPL, and AOL cannot insert proprietary code, ads, or other BS along the way without changing the license, and making it clear to all. Just use Opera, and avoid the problem.....
