The 21st century is an ugly one. We just bombed the hell out of Iraq, and the ugly head of yet another confrontation is in the horizon.
The recent bombing in Saudi Arabia has now been linked to Iranian based terrorist groups. This new threat spells disaster for everybody big time. It has been rumored that the Iranians have a working Nuclear Bomb, I do not know about the delivery systems for such bomb. If this is true, is there any country safe from this kind of a threat ? I can not think of a worst scenario as the one that looms in the very near future: A NUCLEAR HOLOCAUST. In this kind of confrontation, there are no winners. Oca |

Oca,
President Bush and his cabinet have decided that the USA will use whatever it takes to eradicate Saddam Hussein (if he is still alive), al Queda and other terrorists. The only way that this can be accomplished is to have a dominant, permanent military presence in the Middle East, in Iraq. This will eventually bring peace and stability to that region. Iraq shares borders with Jordan, Syria, Turkey, Iran, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, and the Persian Gulf which is convenient for USA naval forces. A new democratic government in Iraq will be the beginning of USA efforts to reshape and bring peace to the Middle East. Iran will soon be governed by their elected president who will conform with the Nuclear Expansion Treaty. The powers of their Ayatollah will soon be limited to religious services.
