Have you ever seen the movie about the Remagen Bridge, it's called the Bridge of Remagen or something. I've seen it once, and I thought it was alright. The major things being small things like the German general walking out, like he would!?!

Also, it missed the amazing dogfights that happened over the Remagen Bridge. Me-262A-2a and Arado 234Bs diving and darting trying to bomb the bridge, while Mustangs, Spitfires and Thunderbolts tried to stop them.

I really liked that movie.

And I liked Bridge Over The River Kwai. And The Dirty Dozen.

But my favorite is Patton. It's my absolute favorite movie of all time.

Bridge over the River Kwai was good. The Return to the Kwai, sucked big time. The longest day, Battle of the Bulge, Dambusters, Angels 15. All great.

The Longest Day was magnificent.

Have you heard about this program...Hollywood vs. History?

They take movies such as The Longest Day and they point out what is history and what is pure Hollywood.

It's a fascinating program.

But there's one WW II scene that just gives me gooseflesh and makes me well up and spill over. The landing at Normandy.

On Gold Beach when the British officer hits the Universal Gun Carrier to get it going. And the German who works out the Airbornes signals, with that clicker thing.

So, do you like Saving Private Ryan or Band Of Brothers?

Both of them.

Saving Private Ryan was a masterpiece, even if it was a Spielberg movie. (Stephen and I have a wee bit of history). Still, I have to give the toad credit.

BUT! Why did I not remember Vin Diesel was in that movie?

I LOVE VIN DIESEL!

He's the one who gets shot by a sniper, isn't he?

Past, you have past!?! I hate Spielberg movies normally, they are so predictable.
