Re: Ha, ha
Quote:
You claim DV can't possibly know anything about Milosevic because he isn't a Serb and did not LIVE through Milosevic's regime. Alternatively, you claim Salin studied the Roman Catholic inquisition (something he OBVIOUSLY could NOT have lived through) and, in your opinion, Stalin is....now, how did you put it..... the best pupil in the generation!. So which is it, Dusan? One CAN speak with some authority on a subject he or she has not LIVED through, or not? |

Lame argument
Good point Niquie !
Clearly Dusan must be wholely ignorant of most of history since he has not lived through it, nor does he know the participants of such events. This is a completely falacious line of argument as anyone that knows the correct construction of a logical argument will be able to identify in no time at all. That he then resorts to childish jibberish when DV calls him on this point without ever offering any supporting facts to establish that Milosvic has been "slandered" by the West (which might add some weight to his ascertion) shows he has no argument and that he knows it. Had he, he would have provided supporting evidence. Its absence speaks volumes as to his (self) proclaimed knowledge on the subject. His argument is also contardictory as he applies a level of reasoning (DV is not Serbian, for example, and therefore cannot have the knowledge of Serbian affairs that only a Serbian can possess) that he fails to apply to himself in addressing DV's criticism. He too has no knowledge of what subjects DV may well know with some authority (he is only guessing at what he thinks he knows or does not know), yet he can dismiss DV's criticisms while failing to see that his own original position equally excludes him from commenting on another writer's knowledge of this subject. Solopsim is not an argument, it is a symptom of not having the first idea what an argument yet thinking you do.

Precisely...
...and there is more than one member who resorts to this tacic and these people bring little to the party but their own egos. Challenge them and they become belligerent and start throwing insults.
How the hell do you EVER learn ANYTHING if all you post is what you already believe to be fact? And if that is ALL you do, then why crap on people who might have the information to correct your erroneous findings? No logic there. |

I have not lived in time of Roman's Chatolic inquisition, but I have read about that "disposition". BY PURE CHANCE (ha, ha) I am historian.
I know - Stalin was an Orthodox, but the most of their victims were Orthodox. Wasn't they? So, we talking about "methods"! Stalin was monster, but he has bought methods from the Roman Chatolic Church. And that was my point! DV, I can not to believe you are mod! I mean you need to supplement your knowledge about some historical documents of MODERN TIMES.

Pardon me....
.....you haven't made a point here, nor have you answered my question. You just keep talking and talking about irrelevant matters.
Go back, re-read my post and see if you can answer the question, because you cannot have it both ways, that's why you keep tripping over your ego and looking so damned clumsey. |

You are so sweet, but I am learning from books, not from russia.com!
