Hatred, Nazism and Sovietism are clearly evident on the Estonian and Latvian sides as previously detailed.

Only a simpleton can believe that Russia's economy is mainly oil driven and no Lembitu, no Balt has ever come close to kicking my ass.

Previous examples of discrimination have been given. You don't regard those acts as discriminatory.

Deals with the Mongol-Tartars were made by the Halychan [West Rus] princes in the first place and not by the Polish Kings in the XIII-th century. Please mind the raid of the Rus (Halych) Prince Leo (reputed as founder of Lwow) who burst deep into Poland with Berke-khan troops making terrible killing and destruction spree in 1259.
The deadly coalition reached even Silesia!
It was terrible time and Poland had no deals but strenghtening in mind. Hence, the idea of union with Lithuania. Conclusons of Pankratov are misguiding and simply untrue.
On the other hand, Pankratov is right when he states that there were warmer periods in Poland-Rus relations. In fact, until the Mongol disaster came in 1240, Polish relations with Rus were better and richer than with Lithuania.

At least I can tell that in 1918 they were the hardest opponents for Estonian troops. They were the only units wich had discipline and morale for fighting. But anyway Estonian forces beated red army back to russia with Red Latvian units.
