Russia shouldnt care less if Karimov gets overthrowned. Anyways he has never been an ally of Russia, Uzberkistan was a prominent supporter of American interests in Central Asia. So if the current regime of Uzbekistan will be overthrowned Russia wouldnt lose anything, and possibly only gain.
