Anyone with time or interest or curiosity, I invite you to check it out. New issue of "Atlantic", a lengthy and pompous diatribe along the lines of "why Russia is finished...". Oh the man knows it all, he has taken a walk with Lena the secretary along the gloomy alleys of Kitai Gorod, and the bimbo philosopher informed our deep author herself that "nothing good can ever come out of Russia...", he even summed up eight hundred years of history in one and a half page! A fine sample of the lofty calibre of the American intellectual elite (Atlantic, a high-brow magazine, is it not?) Please, friends, read it and write me a few lines. I am so in need of sharing my awe with someone.

Yes, it's a real stinker of an article, isn't it? The stuff about the Mafia is so wrong it's almost unbelievable - you'd have to TRY HARD to get it so wrong! :-( He keeps rattling-on about 1993... and doesn't notice that anything has changed since then.
