EU is one thing. NATO, so close to Russia, and nothing really to gain just shows me a twist of the arm and bribing another ally (get em while they're still.... edible) and Ukraine responding, Ok, but this is for the last time!!! sort of thing.

All of Europe is pretty much in the EU, except England, but who makes up the NATO countries?

And what was Poland let in in 1999, either NATO or the UN? And then the EU in... 2004 or 2005? Just trying to keep up with my global politics.
