RUSSIA AND CHINA BECOMING VERY CLOSE ALLYS,SO IF THERE WOULD BE A WAR RUSSIA+CHINA VS US+NATO,RUSSIA+CHINA 95%WOULD,WIN WITH CHINES 10,OOO,000 MEN ARMY AND RUSSIAN SOME OF THE NEWEST AND BEST WEAPONS IN THE WORLD.
QUESTION IS IT GOOD RUSSIA BEING ALLYS WITH CHINA(RUSSIANS ONLY).

WHAT?????The russian government cant even AFFORD to pay its troops or pay for BASIC human services on time, much less retool and update its military to combat NATO and the USA. China doesnt have a blue water navy, so they couldnt take on the USA in a navel war..they would lose.I HOPE a war on that magnitude DOESNT happen, noone could win...nuclear weapons would SURLY be used. I dont care HOW many troops you have.....noone wins when nukes are factored in.

For a Russian-Chinesse pact to work ( and it wouldnt..there historically enemies) They would BOTH have to update there military and china would have to expand its navy WITHOUT the US or NATO seeing it. An Arms build up of that size wouldn't go unnoticed.

wouldnt it be better if all the countrys of the world tried to build a lasting peace instead of building bombs and tanks?

After having studied the Soviet Military system and having had contact with Russiam soldiers, do not count out the Russian military despite the current conditions. Any perceived attack against "Mother Russia" would unleash a whirlwind against whatever foe. Remember after Stalin purges against the military and how weak the military was in 1939. When Nazi Germany attacked in 41, this "weak" military gave up ground (as is their custom) only to buy time until they could counter attack.

But keeping my respect for warriors of any kind aside, the real reason for the current buddy-buddy relationship between Russia and China is to allow them to relax the tense situation along their long, well guarded border. They each have conflicts that require the troops that are tied up in these areas. With the easing of these tensions, the military can then be realocated to other, more pressing areas.

Why should we have a war with Russia? What would it accomplish? I would rather see RUSSIA + CHINA + USA + NATO.
Although a good war could cut the population down and make a lot of heros on both sides. I think we will do well together if NATO will cool its heels.
From this board I have learned to like a lot of people from Serbia and Russia.
I see no evil empires on the horizon.

Your last statment PROVES you know NOTHING about the current state of the russian military. Those so called "fighters" you claim that russia has are CONCEPT fighters!! CONCEPT, there NOT going to produce them!!

They DONT have the MONEY there bright one. EVERY, and I mean EVERY, magazine I have read or news program ( net or TV) ALL say the same thing...russia CANT make these weapons...no funds! REUTERS( an INTERNATIONAL NEWS organiztion) Aviation week, Janes Defense weekly, Janes Defense review, Time, CNN, MSNBC, newsweek, and a few others all say the same thing...russia wont have these fighters for a VERY long time. Even the company that made that new Su fighter said it wouldn't be made, that the ONLY reason they even had it is because THEY paid for the reaseach..NOT the russian Government!

About your so call T-90 tank...the Last time I checked, it was an EXPORT only weapon...the russian military doesnt even have it!

Lets face the facts shall we.....

A) I dont want a war with Russia or anyone else, We won the cold war all ready, that was enough.

B) The only time the USSR used its military was in afghanistan....shall I bring up chechnya??..Nuff said.

C) EVERYTIME the USA or NATO has gone up aginist your TECHNOLOGICALLY ADVANCED RUSSIA MILITARY HARDWARE or DEFENSE Strategy, we walked all over them..you need examples there brainless...fine...The serbs ( They LOVED our B-2 Stealth Bombers!), Iraq ( Little good your ADVANCED Russain weapons did there...only thing they did WELL was either get shot down or blown up!)Libya..again...russian things go BOOM really well!!
D) you said that the troops got paid..GREAT, first time in HOW LONG?? Did they get all the money owed them or just enough to buy some bread with?? I feel SORRY for the russian troops. I wouldn't what to work without pay!

How do you know what the F-22 can do?? some of its performance range and what it can do is still CLASSIFIED! The USA ( or the Allies)have controled the sky in EVERY conflict we've EVER been in. We KNOW what a fighter needs to do...you sure as h*ll cant claim the same about the russian fighters. My 3 top examples prove that.

Your right about one thing, the russian government needs to pay attention to its economy instead of all the other crap it dumps what little money it has into. Without the funds, those fighters and tanks will never be built, and IF they are built, they would be in such SMALL numbers they couldnt be a threat to anyone!

The USA has a great economy..best EVER, yet we can only afford two fighter programs right now. Your telling me that a country that has almost NO economy can afford 3 Different fighters, new missiles, and new tanks??
