Lilly, it has been 272 hours and 33 mins...but who's counting?
I've eaten more candy canes this past two weeks than I have in my entire life (combined) before this!

Cat, good luck on getting rid of the cancer sticks. Since I never had that particular problem I can only offer you my best wishes, I have no advice to offer. I have seen some good friends suffer at their inability to rid themselves of the evil weed. Good luck and God speed!

Thanks Chase. I have a pretty determined personality, if you haven't guessed by now! Some may call it plain stubborn. I have NEVER allowed anyone nor anything to control any aspect of my life. How I let those little demon coffin nails do it, I'll never know. It's now been more than 2 weeks without nicotine and I am still free, not incarcerated for harming anyone, so guess it's going as well as can be expected!
I'd like to wish all here a very Blessed Christmas and a safe and happy new year. If your beliefs don't run "that way",
I wish you PEACE and prosperity.
Here's hoping that the new year will see greater understanding in all corners of this world!
