Las Vegas? hmmm I don't know...yet. Sounds like a gamble to me. Wouldn't want to go "chasing" up the wrong tree. Darn, I knew I shoud have collected air miles! <wink>
I am so cold, brrrr. Well Chase, off comes the first petticoat! (if you read my reply to your other post, you will understand) Love the story about granny and the hummer! You "illicited" a "deep throated" laugh out of me! <wink> Cat: My cousin can't find me either, what could I be doing wrong? I clicked to be listed. Drop your bra knitting for a moment and reply please. <smile> Smoldering Green Eyes, LillyNomad |

Lilly, send me your ICQ #. It's o.k., no one can contact you unless you accept them. I'll try that. If it doesn't work, I'll send you an invintation from my ICQ site. All you have to do is accept and it will start you all over.
Chase, Loved the HumVee story. My "Granny" was the original "Little Old Lady", from Miami though. She drove an Olds 442 with dual "carbs" and glass packs (mufflers)! What a trip! I miss her terribly. Today would have been her 87th birthday. She died August 21st. O.K., I've dropped the knitting, I think warm hands are infinitely better! I have a message from the north pole for some of you, from the portly man in red: I've been watching you, this long year through. Had to see who was naughty and nice. The time is here! My decisions are clear! The list is done, I've checked it twice. NINA, so sweet, she'll get lots of treats! GENE, you've been a good boy too. CHASE was heroic, charging in on your steed, steadfast and true! The "enemy" you did "rout", making them shout "Chase, your our hero", put a twinkle in my eyes of blue! MADRUSSIAN you've been naughty, but true. Your anger you know, you REALLY should slow. But in an effort to show how your efforts, I KNOW I'll bring you a toy. Next year, be a really good boy! SERBIA06, you've been a naughty young miss! The entire world "goodby" you would kiss! You're just a mess, I really confess. Everyone, except you, you seem to detest! Can't help you, though many have tried. Santa, I fear won't be visiting you my dear. You've broken his heart, he sobbed and cried! MELODIA dear, you've worked hard this year! Your angry mind you did clear. I'll be there this year. LILLY, you're last, couldn't push you through fast. Keep the best until then, 'cuase they always make you smile or give you a grin! Your "titties" my dear, won't be freezing this year, I'm brining you a special "warmer". Designed just for you, two hands, strong and true! They're attached, it would seem to a man who loves eyes of green. He'll warm your heart and tickle your "fancy"! Keeping your eyes of green smoldering. Your wishes he'll obey, keeping you happy night and day! That's all for now, gotta' go give the reindeer their chow! Merry Christmas to all! May Peace fill our hearts, this is my wish for one and all. Keep an open mind, don't be small. [This message has been edited by csockol (edited 15 December 1999).] |

Chase: Cheap flights?
Darling, this lady only flys first class all the way. <wink> Cat, I love you so much. You are so bright and witty. Don't let that shining light fade. I wish my mom was like you, my life would have been so much easier to bear. I have to stop, as my eyes are really tearing up with emotion. My IcQ # is 57888909 for anyone who wants to contact me. I haven't explored it yet, and have no idea what I am doing. Sincerely, LillyNomad [This message has been edited by Lilly (edited 15 December 1999).] |

YOU were the hero, you silly boy!
Glad you liked it. It helped to pass the time this morning at about 3 a.m., as another "night" ended for me after about 2 hours sleep. Boy, first, no smoking, then no sleeping. I'm afraid to find out what comes next! Cat |

What comes next?
You said you were saving it for a xmas present for your hubby? You can't renege noW. *********You mentioned a Hero*************** My hero would be a knight in armour carrying a broadsword while astride a black charger. He would sweep me away to the land of beyond. I was reminded of the Ballad of Elaine, by Sydney Fowler Wright. The Arthurian works of said author are quite romantic. (I am a hopeless romantic). This is an excerpt: "What would ye that I did?" said Sir Lancelot. "I would have you to my husband," said Elaine "Fair damsel, I thank you," said Sir Lancelot, "but truly," said he, "I cast me never to be wedded man." "Then, fair knight," said she, "will ye be my paramour?" "Jesu defend me," said Sir Lancelot, "for thee I rewarded your father and your brother full evil for their great goodness." "Alas," said she, "then must I die for your love." Warm Regards, LillyNomad [This message has been edited by Lilly (edited 16 December 1999).] |
