Lilly, I actually remembered to give you the site for downloading ICQ! Not bad, for my age. Hope you're not freezing your "tushie" off, up there in the "frozen north"! We're still toasting our "buns" here, in FL.
Anyway, you can go to this site, download ICQ then enter "real time" chat rooms, accepting people into the "chat" as you choose! Let me know when you're on...We can communicate a little faster on ICQ than we can here.

Question, Have you noticed that Serbia06 never seems to RESPOND to any posts meant for specifically for her? I've sent her a couple of messages, no response. I fear that unless she can try to castigate, demean and vilify the "author" of a previous post, she has nothing to say. What do you think? I HAD hoped that we (she and all the others on this site) could actually learn something from one another, much as you and Nina have given us new insights into many things. Alas, No
such luck. I'm afraid her hatred of everyone runs too deeply. For that, I am sorry. I believe that you and I share the same opinion: You can never have too many friends, and like the flowers in the field, the more varied they are, the better!

I downloaded ICQ. Still haven't figured out how it works. I'm pretty good with computer programs and need a few minutes to check it out. I am extremely busy learning a new accounting program at work. We go live Jan. 01,2000 and Payroll is the most complicated as I have to design all the reports from scratch (Excel based), plus it is a Unionized Payroll.
Until then (few days)all I have is a pretty green blossom sitting in my system tray. My #is posted in my profile. Do you have to invite me?

Try that drug Zyba--something. It is supposed to work. I hear it is a tranquilizer. Seems to be a trade off. Just as long one doesn't stay in la la land too long.

Keep up the good work, both of you. I am still trying to figure out all of this. I used to think I was halfway intelligent until I started computers and all the different programs.

Congrats to you Lilly about having your name in lights. Is that any consolation to the fact that I am here in Las Vegas and I have to put on a sweater in the morning, but by the afternoon, I don't need it anymore. I don't mean to rub it in.

Chase, careful how you phrase things. I WISH we needed a "sweater in the evening" here. Lilly, I knit and crochet, I'm such a GOOD grandma'! Ya' want me to whip up some sort of sweater bra?

I WAS going to ask about smoking in other countries. Are smokers as "unacceptable" as they are here? About the "subject". I wanted to make SURE I'd catch your attention and if it catches others along the way, so much the better!

Lilly, can't find you. Tried Lilly and Lilly Nomad. I need either your "name", as it is listed on ICQ or your ICQ #. Once I have that, I can add you to my ICQ. The system will send you an "invitation" to "join" my list. Once you get that, that can either accept or not. Same way with anyone else on ICQ who wants to contact you. I can't check this board again until later today. I work for the school board, in a local high school. I can't bring this board up there, as some of the "posts" might not be considered "acceptable" school material. Cat, don't worry, I can fill out those sweaters quite nicely. Crochet a bra!!You make me laugh. These days I need that.
I'm sure there is a warm pair of hands around!!!(just kidding, couldn't resist)

As for my car, it is not green. Primrose, Acura 3.0 CL, V-Tech engine, leather interior and every imaginable luxury. Being in Canada, what I love is that seats have built in heaters. This way, when I start her up, my bottom is not freezing like my titties!!! Takes me 7 minutes to get to work on the expressway.
There are a few other perks that I like, but enough for now.

I like where I live because it has the changing seasons, but right now, as I am not aclimatized yet, I feel cold all the time. We had a few flakes of snow, but that melted.

As for the smoking bans, we have one of the strictest. As of 2000, no bar, restaurant - all public places will prohibit smoking. This is a regional bylaw. They tried it in Toronto, but it was unsuccessful. Keep up the good work Cat. Hang in there, you can beat it. Nicotine is tougher to beat, than Cocain.

You would like to live here. Great Lakes all around, fresh air, and the best fishing, hunting and camping around. If you are the outdoors type that is.

Hey Cat, when you knit the bra for Lily, please let me know, I want to be those hands. Sorry lily, but you haven't written back and I just have to go by the old photos. I guess I can't take a hint. But just to let you know I did really enjoy the photos. Remember, Las Vegas is a lot warmer than Canada, and I bet we could figure out something to do. I am sure there are a lot of cheap flights too.

Hey Cat, I just saw a Hummer moving down the road with no driver. I watched it until it parked and then a senior citizen, she must have been at least 80, got out of the drivers seat. She had a small ladder to help her down and since the vehicle is so high up, I could not see a driver. Now that is the ultimate "granny wagon". I was laughing so hard that I forgot to take a photo.
