"commie"- a lot of people use this word here in the US to insult communists. i myself, bein a russian in the US had a few unpleasant incidents with people asking me: "are u a commie?" i think this term is just immature cause it shows contempt to a group of people w/out stating why... well, i resent communism and i CAN tell u why for a change:
BECAUSE OF WHAT THEY DID TO THE WORLD, TO MOTHERLAND, and TO MY PEOPLE. communists have spread hatred and mistrust around the world, they have set up against each other the nations theat would otherwise have been sisters, they have washed the name of Russia down the sewer in front of the world, spit on what was holy, humiliated the people and made them suffer, then left Russia in an unbelievable mess, where the mafia took control. It now is decaying day by day.that's why can't even enjoy the pride of the Soviet hockey, because the very name of USSR is hateful to me. and now Russians elected an ex-spy from KGB for president. What do u guys think about that?

These people here in the US who ask me "Are you a Communist?" really make me sick. I usually answer "Oh, yes,I am, I just forgot my Communist Party Membership card at home. I'll show it to you next time.." and so forth. THanks God, it does not happen that often.

Your thinking for the communist world show utter ignorance and you judged only the surface ,did not analyze it carefully. It is true in few countries the way the communist leaders behaved were really unfortunate. But it does't mean that the concept is worng. Yes there is a darth of people who can guide the nation as a communist. One should one of the greatest man of the melliniun is V.I Lenin.there are people who are involved in conspiracy to uproot the communism and i and I am sure the they will not be successful.the communist did not wipe out the name of Russia even in the USSR eraand if you talk about mafia,as i know they are more active after the disintregration of Russia. If you talk about humiliation i can site one thousand exemple of humiliation done by the capitalist country. The equlibrium of the polical world has been lost due the disintregretion of Russia and now as a result of it America utilizing it.Now adays they are not conquering the country but they are engulfing the economy. As a indian i believe still there is a great future for communism in Russia.Just as a reference i am setting an exemple of china.Kindly get information about china's prosperity.Even capitalists are quevering in fear of losing market. So friend do not jump into the conclution and do not pose any apathy to any community, political as well as ethnic.I fill proud to say that "I AM A COMMUNIST".

Dear d. chakraborty,

U agreed with me though u said u disagreed. what i was chiefly attacking in my post was soviet communism, and u said yourself it was very unfortunate.

i'm very glad u responded to my post, because this is the first time i am getting a chance to talk about communism with an a communist. it might help to see your side of it.

if Marxism in principle is what u wanna discuss i'm all for it (i love good debates).

i'll ask u to first state ur position clearly though (what u believe should happen & what u believe will happen).

then i'll share w/ u some philosophy of my own.

if u think i lack info about communism, u r welcome to educate me. u r communist, i'm not, so i'm sure u know more about it than i do.

i still think Soviet Communism did horrible things to mu Russia. and Communism as i know it is not what i want 4 Russia.

love, Evelyn.

From what I know Communism was to be the newest and best government in the world but like people who gave the control of ther lives to people who claimed to be gods diaster awaited them. Communism could be very good but anyone who holds too much power doesn't use it for the benifet of the people but for his own good.
I didn't realize it would be an insult to ask a Russian if he was a communist but now if I meet a Russian I won't ask him if he is a communist.
