Are there any Russian Monarchists here?

If so, I would like to ask them if they know if Vladimir Putin is interested in being TSAR?

Please, only serious, thoughtful responses!

Thanks,
Atossa

Did you hear, by the way, that they have found some more human remains in Ekaterinburg? There's lots of DNA testing to be done, but it seems like these could be the bodies of Tsarina Alexandra's sister, plus some other missing royalty from that period.

Atossa, why do you think Russia needs more Tsars? Which Tsar, except Peter I, ever did anything good for Russia?

I come from a country which has a Royal Family (Britain), and I would happily see monarchy abolished. Of course, maybe you'd like to see a woman who could not pass a basic University course in charge of Russia? With her stupid son to succeed her, and no chance to remove either of them if they are useless, evil, criminal, clinically insane - or a mixture of these talents?

Considering how many Russian troops in WW1 were sent to certain death by Nicholas II's incompetent idiocy, assisted by a wife who not only slept with Rasputin but encouraged her daughters to do so as well... I don't really think that monarchy in Russia has much of a pedigree to propose its restoration?
