Dr_Woland:
With "geopolitiks" as they are, one should be grateful that our Air Force did not bomb the hell out of UK, after all, it is only a very small island outside the Continent. Maps are very scarce, and Michellin has not updated theirs. Keep your head down. |

Dearest DW:
Are you really that OBTUSE? I do believe that the entry of the USA into Balkan War #1,000,000 was as part of an Allied (NATO) operation that involved aircraft and troops from several European countries to include the UK. Also, if memory serves correct, the USA was the last NATO country to sign on to this questionable venture, and now has something like 10,000 soldiers on duty in an area that over 100,000 German troops could not control in WW II. Personally, I think the bombing & the troops are a mistake. I totally agree with Bismarck who said, "The entire Balkans are not worth the bones of one Pomeranian Grenadier." Dr Woland,
You have a great resume and I enjoy and respect you and your writings but I can see that you have the same problem as Al Gore: You are a sore loser. You have lost this debate and are unable to see it or admit it. I like and respect you and Al Gore but it is sad to see you both refusing to accept what is obvious to any objective thinking person. Wake up!! Look at the last several post with an open mind.. I almost voted for Al Gore but at the last minute voted for Bush. After seeing Al wanting us to keep counting until we get the answer he wants, I have come to be glad I voted for Bush. My resume is that I am a high school drop out and do manual work for a living and am free to think as I please. Gene Gene |
