Hi. I am from Ontario, Canada and our school is participating in a "make believe" United Nations program with neighboring schools in my community. Volunteers from the various participating highschools form a group of 2 which will each represent a country at the meeting. My friend and I are representing Russia. What we need to find are Conversational Issues and discussions which we can use at the meeting. We need things such as current political issues and wars, problems amongst the country, frictions with other countries, (such as USA.. i know there's friction there.. ), current space news and breakthroughs, and what not... and finally, anything we can use to make russia look good to the rest of the countries If anyone can help us out with this, we would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
Jake

Cool

Um. As I see it. At the present time there is no friction between Americans(?) and the Russians. I view it as being 'deadly disagreements' between such good old chums. Don't you agree? Peace

Negative Yaro. The US media feeds us stuff like that only if it has some propaganda value. I wouldn't doubt the story, however. Peace

Yaro,
I don't think a Russian plane could fly under a US Carrier. Maybe you mean they penatrated the Carriers air defence umbrella.
