I'm an US Marine, that is looking for a friend to email in Russia. I have always been interested in meeting Russian people, and right now this would be the easiest way. If you want to talk, email me at The.Edge@russia.com

With TS clearance, I seriously doubt you would be permitted to correspond in this manner. Your C.O. might have something to say about it.
The whole situation sounds dubious. LillyNomad, Alpha Female p.s. Strength of the Wolf...Is that a marine motto? Sea Wolves? |

The saying "The strength of the wolf is the pack, and the strength of the pack is the wolf" is just a saying I picked up in the corp. It deals more with teamwork, basically saying that you need to rely on everyone, as everyone relies on you in a team. As with my clearance, my CO probally would be pissed, but he'll get over it.

I have no idea where it comes from. I think thats it may be from the Marine Corp, but I'm not sure. It's written on some phone #'s I got from an officer on base. I'll try and find out though if I can. What interests you about wolves? I'm more of a Black Panther person myself, but I like wolves as well.

Hate to say this, but your saying sounds more like something from the Nazi Germany "Wolf Pack" than the US Marine Corps!
You might also want to be aware that there are people "out there" who's sole job is to look for US Military personnel doing things they really shouldn't ought 'ta! Edge, if you can read this, so can they. Cat [This message has been edited by csockol (edited 27 December 1999).] |

You wanted to meet russian people to get to know about Russia. Didn't your Russian ex-girlfriend teach you anything?
The subject of wolves has been a fascinating hobby of mine for many years. I like the way the pack has an order. Hyenahs have similar wolflike traits too. Regards, LillyNomad |
