Wanted-Russian Penpal

I have travelled extensively in USSR - before, when it was different than now. I would like to go there again, and wish to correspond with someone who has been there recently, and can tell me what it is like now. I am a white lady, middle age, not married, work for the NASA space agency and live in Florida, USA. The last time I visited Russia was in Dec. 1987 - it was beautiful, and I loved the country and people. The men were the most handsome I have ever seen anywhere, and the country folks were happy and cheerful, and very friendly towards Americans. I have often wished to go back, but don;t know if I would like the change. What is Moscow, St. Petersburg, and the little villages like Vladimir like now?? Can anyone tell me?? Are they spoiled with the Burger Kings and neon, and crime, etc. that we Americans have spoiled our own country with??
