Latinamerican Female looking for some russian informatio

hi!! i'm planning to visit Russia in july, i would love to get to know a bit of you before i get there. Some people here say that russians must be so cold and distant, then again i don't know why i think is not like that. I used to live in England for nearly 2 years and yes at first they were a bit distant (compare to us) but at the end they were great. How you are?
I'm 29 and come from Costa Rica.

You worries are true. Russians are really cold towards the strangers, I tell you as a russian. But if you get to know someone closer, you may see how generous russians are. I advise you not to try to make friends in the street, you'd better do this in some kind of a bar, club or smth like that. Hi! I tried to send you a mail, but the address you gave , didn't work. I think that being just 2 weeks in your country i guess isn't enough to know about how russian people is, too bad that you are kind of distant, maybe is the weather, don't you think? i'm traveling by myself and i don't think is a good idea me being alone in a bar or disco, i don't know there but here men are bothering and stiring at you if you are alone. What is the temperature in july? Do you know about a nice hostal i could stay? Do i need to brink a coat? What do you do to have fun? here we dance a lot! sorry that i'm asking so many questions but i don't know too many things about your people and your country.
