Dear Admin, three members have labored hard to keep Russia.com going over the past six months or so. We have used many ploys to get people to post here, and some have worked. Now you are saying that we need someone to moderate our behavior. Try it and you'll lose those who are left. Russia.com and Ukraine.comare the only two sites left worth subscribing to due to so-called moderators. This same clean up was used on Turkey, Algeria, Morocco, and Scotland, and neither of them are worth going to if one has anything worthwhile to discuss or debate. So consider leaving Russ.com the way it is. Peace

Dear Admin:

Certain members who post here - including Mr. Nonson - have a problem with anyone who disagrees with their politics. In particular they find it offensive that I, a conservative Republican, is allowed to post here.

These individuals have indeed labored long and hard to suppress the free speech rights of other individuals who post here and I have received E-Mails from other conservatives who have suffered their wrath.

I have these E-Mails on file.

Apparently the idea of the "Woland Circle" is to drive away those in disagreement and form their own private little club. In the USA we see this happening every day in academia, the media and in government, as those opposed to liberty do everything in their power - threats, ad hominen attacks, profanity, legal action, demonstrations and so forth - in an effort to drive conservatives out of public life.

What we see on Russia.com is a small sample.

I will agree with Mr. Nonson that the board should be cleaned up! An excellent place to start would be to remove from the BB immediately all those who engage in vile personal attacks and make threats of physical violence.

Sincerely, Ronbo

Ronbo,in your zeal for the non-truths you have plunged into the abyss of infantile irrationality. Who do you think will believe your idiotic propaganda? _____________________________________________ I have been under attack by Right Wing Nuts for over a year, receiving upwards of two hundred (200) e-mails every day. They are ignored, because it is not a low-life practice which I need to engage in. _____________________________________________ Ronbo, you .... I have met far too many of your kind in my life, and the one thing all of you have in common is a lack of useable intelligence. _____________________________________________ You wont be permitted to wreck this board. You wont be permitted a free rein in the spewing forth of your inane and dangers political views. _____________________________________________ I am a member of the Internet Police, if there are problems with others which you can't handle, I can show you how to do it.

Dear Nonson:

Thank you for proving my thesis! What was that name you called me? Really, is that the best you can do?

Sincerely, Ronbo

P.S. I have forwarded this post to Administrator, as I find it offensive and a violation of the posted rules governing this BB.

Gentlemen, thank you for your comments and concerns. Russia.com is in deep need of an early Spring cleaning. And, the only way to accomplish that is to appoint a Moderator.

The personalities on this site are very different from any other Virtual Countries site. As a result, the Moderators here will play a different role. Their main duty will simply be editing vulgar language (and name calling). Otherwise, you guys do quite well on your own. Please do not protest against something that has not yet occurred. Everyone will have a chance to post comments and complaints in the Feedback forum, once the Moderators are active.

I hope that you will change your minds and help welcome our Russia.com Moderators. I beleive that they will be a beneficial addition to the boards.

Thank you,
Admin

Dear Admin., your decision is to be applauded for its thoughtful insight. R.com is a rather unique site, and has much untapped potential. Again, let me thank you for your decision.
