So...
this is the affect of what happens...
Nonson, I am going to miss you

Admin:
I know the resignation is Nonson's choice...but it's a clear cry that something has to be done about the problems of differences here. We are (should be) a civilized discussion forum based upon the happenings, culture, etc of RUSSIA. While the politics of the other parts of the world often come into play, I often wonder if the main theme of this forum is forgotten.
There are other discussion forums (even chat rooms) in which people can say what they feel in a negative tone...but I don't think that belongs here.

The heart of this discussion forum is obviously debate - it's a given. But there is a time and place for everything and I feel things have gone too far out of hand. There are ways to disagree without name calling and slandering.

Have we got ANY ideas on how we can solve these problems?

Dix:

I see your point in this matter and understand what you are saying. I have not actually been to Scotland.com, but think I'll check it out.

It is in a moderator's best position to be non-judgemental, but at the same time I can see how (in everyone) one can "lash out" towards another if attacked. Being a moderator is probably a pretty hard job. Don't know much myself yet...there aren't too many battles in the GLBT section

Have you thought about applying for moderator??

Yes Dix, so true

However, when I was offered this position...I had accepted it liking the topics I was moderating.
They weren't any of the "hot spots" so I didn't think it would conflict with my lifestyle.
Well...ha ha I do tend to be here a lot...and that's because my 12 hour work shifts permit it.
However, when I will be in Russia, I don't think I'll have as much acess to russia.com as I do now. Good thing to note to myself...I'll have to go speak to admin about that one.

Dix,

I has wound you up & you has wound me up, but we is still very much alive. Both on here and in reality, however if you is messing with a moderator you get your ass kicked off. no questions no hearing.

I was kicked off S.com for my Humour, (which I think is the best in the world0 and because I challenged a moderator, no swearin' and the only abuse was I called him a slap head

He was willing to allow all the beastiality gags about Kiwis and the murderous Serb digs, but if you said Scottish language was a nonsence and kids would be best served by learning and international language you got your butt kicked striaght off there. The Admin dude did nowt as admin had selected this dude. That's moderators for you. Those who seek power are usually the worst people to hold it.

I hopes you is not gonna get your butt kicked off, I is enjoying winding you up too much.

Love the NZman
