I can't see avatars

How can I see avatars? I can't see them. Also I have to log on everytime, can you use cookies to keep me logged on all the time?

If there is a way to stay logged in for a long period of time, I have yet to figure it out. As irritating as it is, Ru.com will force you to sign in again if you have to heed the call of nature, or if you take too long to compose your reply. Other than the possibility that a short timeout improves the "hit" count for sponsors, I have no idea why VCI sets the timeout so low. It has been that way for a long time though...... I don't think avatars work here as on some other sites. Some people include a pic as part of their sig line, which has the same effect. That might be your best bet.
