Unhappy

Hi, just to repeat what I have already said to a few people, in the hope that my problem can be sorted...

For the last few days, since just before the site went down, I get the following message if I try to post from home:

Sorry. The administrator has banned your IP address. To contact the administrator click here

I tried to contact admin and spoke to Ben, but it's still the same. I am posting today from work, no problem. How can I get my home ip to work again? Any ideas?

What kind of connection do you have at home? disconnect and then reconnect to get different IP address from your ISP

I can't help you with your IP problem; however there is a way to login even if your IP is banned -- just use a public HTTP proxy (there are tonns of them on the net, do a search on google or yahoo). There is even a few with web interface -- try http://www.megaproxy.com.

HTH,
D.P.

P.S.: A proxy is an intermediate server that connects to web sites on your behalf (but using it's own IP address) and then sends the results to your browser.
