Question

So I like a kick when I drink Vodka and a good dill pickle to sniff then chomp- I know there was another thread with all kinds of "smooth" vodka - but whats a good traditional/true Russian Vodka with a kick that I can get in the states????? Cheers!

Stolychnoya, of course, is a true blue (Red?) Russian Vodka.
If you do not get it,
try Smirnoff of Romanov.

You know that this medium is used by people all over the world.

I am a consulting engineer, Indian, living in the south Indian city of Bangalore.
I was in Moscow & Kharkov during 1974-75 on post graduate study and business.

My absolute fav used to be my grandfather's triple-distilled potato samogon(moonshine).That is untill I visited Ukraine and tryed my great uncle's appricot gorilka.
