Favorite Russian Food or Drink

My fave Russian food is absolutely "Prijaniki", sweet biscuits which are eaten together when you drink tea. They are very nice and good!

So what's your favorite?

I like kvass, vareniki, kholodets, I like gretchka, pilmeni, vinegrette, kotleti, blini, peroshki salo, I am not sure I think Kholodets and salo are Ukranian, but any how…
Oh smoked fish, with beer …

I think borsch is my favorite Russian food. However, I have not had very many different Russian foods yet. Oh, also bliny are very good.

Sirok is by far the best thing ever! I dont think i've translated the spelling properly but its that delicious vanilla flavoured curd bar coverd in choclate (found with the yoghurts and cheeses) and i've only seen it in russia, its very heavy on the old belly i once managed to eat three in a row but felt very poorly afterwards! I'd love to buy it in england but i've never seen it over here! I love sirok so much, i miss it!
