Type Styers Genealogy and see if it comes up with information for you.

Styers is not ethnically Russian. It looks to be German or Swiss. Many Mennonites were originally Anabaptists from Switzerland that settled in Germany and later immigrated to Czarist Russia, at the invitation of Katherine the Great in the 18th century.
