Hello. Thank you for having this site avaiable. My grandfather Christoph or Christopher Oswald came to Canada in about 1910. He was born Nov. 10th 1886 in a small town near Odessa. His fathers name was Andres Oswald or Oswalt and his mothers name was Marguita Bieber from the Helphenstein area. His passport had a date of Feb 10th 1910 and that is all. The pages in the passport were ripped out. He passed away in 1964 without telling us more about his family. He left behind 2 children, his son Arthur(passed away in 1992) and has only a daugther who lives. She would love to have any info on Chris' family. Did he have sisblings and what would their names be? Thank you for any help. We have just recently found Chris' wife's grave, she passed away in 1918 and are wanting to find more info for his only remaining child Freda. Thank you Sharon, Granddaughter of Chrisopher Oswald
