Any Information on Agafonoff

Hi! My name is Valerie, and I have heard that I am related to one of Czar Nicholas' personal friends, General Agafonoff. I also heard that he's very famous in Russia, but I really would like to find out more about him. So if anyone has any information on it, that would be great.

I looked very quickly and could not find any information. I will look more extensively tomorrow, it's time for me to go to bed.

I have found only 3 Agafanoffs from the time period of the tsars - none of them generals. The 3 I found were a geologist, a sailor, and an artist.

Looks like you'll have to read a real book to get further details re Agafonov surname. This is all I could find that shows any reference to the famous Agafonov.
