Major wars lost by russians prior to ww2

1905 to japan
1917 to germany

also russia has come under complete conquest by mongols, which is the ultimate in military defeat, not a lot of nations have suffered this and come out the same as before.

now ask yourself was stalin an utter complete idiot with no strategy??? i think stalin won ww2, if it wasnt stalin at the helm of the USSR...russia would have lost alot of territory to germany or poland...the allies would have drawn the lines in favor of some 3rd party nation like in ww1, where poland got a lot of territory.

Doesn't Zhukov deserve most of the credit? I mean, politicians are a lot better at starting wars than they are at organising them.

Titoman :"Can you tell me how can one man defeat the whole Third Reich?" No, but if we post on here all the people who helped out then the thread might be a bit too long.
