marxism and nazism are competing forms of communism, its like stalinism and leninism, many have went to prison with just the difference between lenin and stalin version of same thing does that mean that lenin and stalin believe in different end product?

I can't even believe that you are comparing communism to fascism!!
Communism is supposed bo be, and was, to some extent, a system of social, economic, and political equality. This meant that the people were equal!! Nazism on the other hand is a system where one race (in Germany's case the Arian race) controls and dominates the others. I don't understand your postings about the Soviet Union's racial repression. The Soviet Republics of Kazakstan, Georgia, Lithuania, Russia's Far East and many others had races very different from the dominant Slav. I don't think that the Soviet government, even if they wanted to, could repress this many ethnic groups. Finally, please note that Stalin was not a communist. He claimed this himself when he reversed Lenin's Marxist/communist laws and Constitution and created his own! Another thing that proved he was not a true communist was when he destroyed wage equality in the USSR. By doing this, the country was no longer moving toward the communist path. Finally, to bisserk's point about the USSR and fascism both attempting to conquer the world: The Soviet Union did a lot of good for the people of third world nations. The fascists on the other hand have only caused misery and suffering throughout their conquered, annexed, or otherwise dominated nations. As for your point about Stalin being similar to Hitler, you my friend are correct. |

Dear friend
How "equal" were Ukrainians, gulags and so on? How about Estonians, Lithuanians, Latvians, Poles? As i stated earlier, I see no difference in nazism and communism. Both got people killed! Both were E-V-I-L!!!! Both laughed at small individuals rights! There is a Finnish saying: "Oikeus seuraa voittajan miekkaa". It translates to something like "The justice followes victor's sword". To put it bluntly, war history is the victor's history, if he even were wrong. The main thing is we learn about things in our past and live so it won't happen again!!! |

Quote:
Well, communism believed in outright govenment ownership of the economy, whereas fascism tended to believe more in government control, namely by various regulations and rules. Communism believed in putting a party member/government bureacrat in charge of industry, fascism believed in putting an actual industrialist in charge of industry, but haveing the government watch and regulate closely. Some forms of Fascism are virulently ethnic/racial chauvinist-such as Nazism. Others aren't. Mussolini believed more in a new ROman empire rather than the superiority of the Latin race. |
