The matter if Hitler was worse than Stalin will remain forever an academic question. Hitler did a lot of good for Germany till he lost the war and his life. Stalin lived a little longer and that allowed him to exterminate more people than Hitler. We will never know what would have happened if Hitler had won the war.

But for now, I think there is worse than Hitler and Stalin: the people that still admire one of them.

first of all stalin was a dictator to served the idea of socialism that leads to communism, every nkvd agent, every kgb official , every commissar, party leader had their own brains...stalin didnt man the gulags, they are too far away in siberia for stalin to have 24 hr reports. sure stalin killed his wife, everyone around him that pissed him off but 20 million??? did he really send 20 million into camps??? stalin would be too busy to fight ww2 if he was sending 20 million into camps!!!! he didnt even know that many....

yes, stalin was leader of everyone around him that executed his ideas....stalin served communist cause just like all the kbg officers that tortured and killed counter revolutionaries...

as a former soviet, I find this question ridiculous, hitler was the enemy to the soviet union, he is without doubt supreme evil, stalin was a hero of the soviet union, he is not evil at all...sure he takes the wrap and the credit for killing 20 million nazi supporters but without stalin and all the kgb officers fighting in the home front the CCCP would collapse killing everyone instead...when your ship is sinking a few sacrifices must be made to keep it afloat
