Barbarians Week on History Channel

Tonyuk, most Vikings were definitely barbarians. The Vikings were just a small part of scandinavian people. They were the men who raided the coasts of Europe. They raped, took slaves, killed people, plunedered and did other mean things. Fits my description of barbarian more than enough.

Btw, since King Richard Lionheart was a decendant of Vikings wouldn't that make him a barbarian?

scandinavian,How did u come to a conclusion that Vikings are definitely barbarians? did u live in their age?.did u witness so called torture committed by them in person?

For example,All accounts regarding Adolf Hitler in our present-day are American originated because Americans occupied Germany obtained all information about his roots before the withdrawing.as a result of this,He has always been exhibited by these resources in question to be a bad figure so that All people hate him.
( by the way ,dont think that I advocate Adolf Hitler.I gave him as example )
to cut a long story short ,making decision concerning anybody or any nation is not so easy.Our present historiography is under the control of countless biased judgements..

As for the ethnic root of Khazar.They are accepted by the scholarly milieu to be of Turkic origin.Whether european Jews are descended from Khazars are still debateful..The pioneering author advocating the notion that European Jews are really of Turkic origin is Aurthor Koestler,himself a jewish..look at the book titled Thirtheen Tribe by Aurthor Koestler^in regard to this topic

Scandinavian,.I am agree with you at some points with reference to Barbar matter.To my mind,Barbarism is closely linked with the fact that anyone sees himself to be superior to another one in some ways.

I will now express my views of the mental background for western world and people .To me,Western world is certainly racist and sees himself to be superior to another world.The concepts or expressions such as Indo-European,Mongoloid ,Yellow race or First world ,second world or third world countries are completely belonging to Indo-European intellectuals,academicians,authors and even to the majority of western people..

seeing the ****ing figures such as Blair,Bush of western origin who are noted for running over the poor and inoffensive people in our -present day dont baffle me ,who knows How much racist a great deal of western people are .
Of course,Richard was one of them.but I dont would like to make all of people living in Europe generalize on this topic.Racism starts with claiming the superiority.so I think all racists are also barbarics

tonyukuk how large was kazak jews? not many....more staid and converted to orthodox or islam...the ones who migrated came to Poland....proly like 5-10% where kazar jews in Poland...if u look at surnames most had german or polish surnames not kazar...if they kept german surnames when entering Poland they should have kept kazar surnames but hardly any did this....There did live jews all over Europe long before Kazar jewish empire it was in like 600-1000....but jews came to europe in year 30 and after....all over roman empire had jews mostly in portugal and spain and france,germany,italy,greece etc many off these came to Poland after inqusition...the german rhen jews said to live there since 400-600 as often jews did trade so romans took them everywhere...when jews lost rebelion in israel they where taken as slaves to roman empire this was long before kazar times...thats why there after time was hardly any jews left in israel so arabs came and setteld....

Khazars are accepted to be of Turkic origin. All resources in the age of Khazars identify them to be closely associated with other Turkic tribes.They spoke a Turkic dialect akin to Common Turkic.They are admitted by the majority of Scholars to be descended from eastern swing of KokTürk Empire ..That They had many german or polish surnames doesnt change this fact.For example,Gagauz Turks highly use slavic surnames ,but Their ethnic paternity is very clearly of Turkic origin.

they where turks mixed with jews now even more mixed its very low % off todays jews....take a look at jews today they look like kazaks? no...they look more slavic-semitic than kazak...many even look germanic..
