Not everybody in Germany loved Hitler, Rommel being one of them but if you read my post properly I said Rommel was in it for the glory and fighting for his Germany. His country, his Fatherland, his Germany. Do you understand, or are you so full of yourself you do not understand country ties. You don't respect your country enough to fight for it?
The Last Knight, a knight is for war, fighting, killing but no you fool, Rommel wasn't one for civilian killing. Clear your clouded mind, he was a warrior, a warrior and he was respected for it by his enemies and his own. He cut his own troops water rations to give enough for the British POWs. You are calling this man evil, you are even worse than I thought.
Throughout history people have been respected for being a warrior, Rommel was a true warrior, a knight. No matter who he fought for or whether he rode to battle on a horse or a tank, he was a knight. But you wouldn't understand that, would you? Chivalry.
So if you were German, you would of not fought for Germany? But would you have fought for Poland? If you were British would you of fought for Britain? If you were Italian would you have fought for Italy?

Do YOU know what Rommel did in N. Africa or France? In Germany in the 30s there was this little thing called conscription, meaning you had no choice to join the army or not. In Britain, Canada, America, France, Russia, Australia there were people joining voluntarily and being conscripted the volunteers were fighting for their country, you obviously have no respect for your country if you are not willing to fight for it, even for its defence.

You have no clue about Rommel so don't try and judge him. He was a warrior, and he fought that war for himself and his own personal glory, that is what Hitler encouraged, glory is a harder driver than orders.
In France his Panzer Division was known as the "Ghost/Phantom" division because he so often cut his ties with HQ so he could do what HE wanted, and he was always on the frontline with his troops. Like a great leader he was.
You have no military standing or understanding so don't try and judge him when you don't understand the respect he held for his homeland.
If Poland had the chance to become great, you would not aid it?

I try my hardest not to insult him, I thought I've never gone beyond idiot. Which I'm sure at such points I was right to say, "SS weren't on the frontline" being so interested in World War 2 I found that comment very stupid, but I suppose if you don't know about it, you don't know about it.
