Voyager:

Is it just me? Or are you going downhill in your arguments?

Downhill in my arguments, hehe. Smiert Spionem is a sort of english spelling of Smert Schpionem, which means 'death to spies' (I took it from the plot of the bond film 'the living daylights'). Wikipedia the phrase for a better explanation.

BTW the plane is a Mig 3, the writing on the side (in english characters) says 'Za Rodino!' or "For the Motherland!", something of a soviet era slogan/battlecry.

It takes a long time for threads to go anywhere in this forum. So your reply is greatly appreciated.

Dave.

Those bits pretty much summarize my view. There is something satisfying in that the main thrust of allied force on Hitler (and the first to Berlin) came from the 'inferior' peoples of eastern europe/asia. He picked a fight with russia, almost won, then got his ass steadily kicked over a good 3-4 years by an increasingly powerful enemy.

Funky haircut, lol!

Dave.
