“On the subject of the October jubilee, I want to remind about that, what was always in the basis of all Bolshevik activities, what was the reason of their successes and the necessary condition of their October coup d’état.
I’m speaking about the fact that in the basis of all Bolshevik activities there had been always the absolutely open and conscious treason of Russia. Bolsheviks started with their treason of Russia abroad – before the war. They continued with the treason of Russia during the war – at the beginning abroad and later in St. Petersburg – after the revolution – all the time, till their October coup d’état. The traitors of Russia they were – maybe more than ever – and after that, when they usurped the power. Yes, they have never been non-traitors. […] About the treason of Bolsheviks we are speaking not just because it is simply – the treason, but also because the Bolsheviks, who, as the traitors, were during the war an instrument in the hands of Germans, were not just the great misfortune for Russia, but they also had the huge destructive international meaning. Because of the Russian Bolsheviks, Germans in 1917 got an opportunity to continue with the war for the long time, which resulted in new millions of human victims and new sufferings of the people. In such circumstances, Germans, using the Bolsheviks, got the opportunity to win the war, or at least not to lose it – than, naturally, the result of the war would have been the long-lasting European reaction. The first contact of Bolsheviks with Germans and their first treason of Russia were in 1912. But even long before that time, Bolsheviks, and Lenin in the first place, as their most prominent representative, were regarded as traitors in their own social-democratic milieu. They had always that indifference to the means of political struggle. In his time, Martov, for example, who personally knew Lenin very good, was speaking about him and Leninist in general, as people who are blackmailers, calumniators, and amoral persons, who are not repulsed by any kind of political means. In 1912, following German directions, the representatives of the various socialistic parties, who had already agreed with the Austrian government about the joined actions against Russia in the case of war, came from Austria in Paris. They proposed to the Russian revolutionaries to use services of the Austrian government, which was in this occasion acting together with German headquarters. Bolsheviks – and in the first place Lenin – alone accepted that offer. Following German directions, it was proposed to Lenin to come from Paris in Krakow, to dwell in the Austrian-Russian border and, from there, using the protection of the Austrian government, to prepare Bolshevik actions in the case of war. Lenin accepted the German offer. In the summer of 1912 he came from Paris in Krakow, and there, till the beginning of the war, using the provocateurs as Malinovsky, he worked on the development of Bolshevism in Russia. There were the sessions of Bolshevik Central Committee and from there they were sending the agents and commissars for propaganda and creating of Bolsheviks organizations. When the war started, Germans immediately gave the opportunity to Lenin, Bucharin, Zinoviev, Trotsky and others, to, for the successful development of their Bolshevik propaganda, leave Austria and come in Switzerland. In Switzerland, all the time of the war he was developing his Zimmerwald propaganda. From there, with the help of Germans, he came in Russia via Germany, and here he did everything he could to dissolute Russian army. In Russia, he actively continued with his connections with Germans through his comrades, as Ganetsky, and he got support from them. With their help he was preparing his October coup d’état. As traitor of Russia, Lenin cooperated with Germans and after the coup. In March of 1918, when the Allies where still continuing with the war, he made the Brest-Litovsk agreement with Germans, accepted their embassy in Moscow, and sent Ioffe as his ambassador in Berlin. Thus, he made an enormous service to Germans, and they, having the support of the Bolshevik government, in the first part of 1918 started to hope again for their victory over the Allies. But that alliance of Bolsheviks and Lenin with the government of Wilhelm II was ended in November of 1918 by the victory of the Allies armies on the Western front. However, their connections with Germans Bolsheviks hadn’t stopped. They are still supporting each other in the international policy. By this means, Bolsheviks progressively achieved their October of 1917, started this with treason of Russia in 1912. From an insignificant party, without any serious importance in Russia, Bolsheviks, even before the war, thanks to the German help, got the international importance. Even the greater importance they got, also thanks to Germans, during the war, especially when they were legalized in Russia and when Lenin joined them from Germany. […] So, the shameful jubilee of October the 25th is near. But jubilant Bolsheviks, in spite of the fire works and loud speeches, in the eyes of all anti-Bolshevik Russia will remain the criminals – traitors, provocateurs, killers. That’s going to be their place in history. ” (V.L.Burtsev, The Jubilee of Traitors and Killers) |
