Ortodox church is not joint with state. That was only case in Russia 1700-1917 because Peter I copied the models from the protestant states. In England this still exists (formally, at least). Is that sign of germanophilia?

there were also tyrants and dictators in Germany despite it was in central place of West civilization.
There were dictators in many parts of Europe between WWI and WWII: Hitler in Germany, Stalin in Russia, Mussolini in Italy, Metaxas in Greece, Franco in Spain, Pilsudski in Poland, etc. etc. Only Russian and German rulers were tyrants, that never was a case with Polish kings, was it?

Also societies were similar.Blind obedience to the authorities and hierarchy was the same in Russia and Germany.in contrary to individual societies of America or Poland.
Only difference is that German culture was richer and Germans changed very much since Adenauer while Russia only became more nationalistic it was.
Stupidities, stupidities, and nothing else but stupidities! I think there's no point to answer anymore after them.

you just don't know how and can't deny your genetic and subconscious russophilia.
Orthodox church was since Peter I under state power of tzars.it's practically the same as in England where queen is the head of state.you can't compare England and Germany cause England was democratic all the time.
and who cares about Spain or Portugal? Britain,France and Germany are the biggest European nations.they have the most developed cultures, economic systems and biggest political meaning.Only Germany of them was more often authoritarian
than democratic.it created a very unique type of social collective mentality not similar to all other European nations which preferred more individual attitude.
this collectivity used to resemble rather Asian or Russian national character where community is more important than individual person. This probably improved communication between Germans and Russians through the ages. national mentality of Germans has been systematically and successfully westernized and redefined in spirit of typical western individualism, democracy and liberal values since the end of WWII.that's why I keep on repeating that Germans have changed since '45.
national characters change then but both philia between Russians and Germans has survived.

The Poles and the Hungarians have no common ethnic background what so ever.

The Poles are slavs just like the Russians are. The Hungarians are not.
