well, i meant the myths about their origin. I don't think Ainu are Slavs. As i remember Ainu are the aborigens of Nothern Japan and i am only wondering are there any legends about their origin in any country? I amn't interested in Russian version of their origin, i am already aware of it. I am also intersted to what race do they belong. It isn't professional interest

Are you kidding? I don't know the subject well. I studied all these things in school. I just try to fresh my memory Firstly, i am sure that Ainu's language belongs to Polynesian group. Secondly, you aren't right saying that Siberia wasn't populated by Slavs. There are a lot of nationalities in Siberia and one of them is Pomory (i don't remember others). Pomory are slavs.

I was studied that there are just three races on the earth: Caucasian, Mongoloid and Negroid. Turk are Caucasian. But i personally have some doubts about Ainu. They must be either Mongoloid or Caucasian If they are Caucasian you must be right Turks and Ainu belong to one race but i don't think Ainu are descedents of Turks.
