I am interested in learning more on the cossack massicar by the english and americans after the Yalta confrence (ww2) can anyone help me out?

thank you for bringing this up. i have done much research on the subject.

brief summary:
there was a large group of cossacks from the soviet union who wished to defect from stalinist rule. they met the british at lienz, austria [hence the name "lienz cossacks"]. the british were *******s and handed the cossacks back to the soviets, ensuring the death of 30k men, women, and children.
