Question

I have read books on the Russian Revolution(wich i feel is still contunuing today). Out of everything i've read, i do believe I read about Lenin Creating a secret police. I have a friend in Moscow and I spoke to her about him. From the knowledge I have, Lenin is one of the best things to happen to Russia. If anyone can educate me about why my friend would say Lenin Messed up Russia.

Isn't that obvious? He was the leader of the movement whose policies lead to all sorts of bad things, including the mess that Russia is in now.

Angry NO

I understand he was the Bolshevik leader. He eved did some things the Bolsheviks dissagreed with, but lenin himself is not to blame of Russia's current condition. Stalin? that is contraversial, but not Lenin. If someone is to place an argument, please make it better understood.

You can find detailed informations about revolution here:

http://www.marxist.com/russiabook/part1.html

http://www.marxist.com/russiabook/part2.html

http://www.marxist.com/russiabook/part3.html

http://www.marxist.com/russiabook/part4.html

The whole book is here:

http://www.marxist.com/russiabook/

There are about 15 parts of this book and first 4 parts are decisive to know things about Lenin and crimes of Stalin.

I must say Lenin was a good man, he actually made Russia free . The other thing is Stalin, of course. We can´t say same thing about him.

Why would anybody blame the former leaders for the current situation in Russia? On Lenin or on Stalin. They are long dead. Under Stalin the Sovjetunion became a military superpower.
Right now Russia is being mocked.
It is a practice to blame the previus goverment for every problem by the new goverment.

Well, Stalin was actually the first Soviet leader who purged all Bolsheviks and military staff which had any connections with revolution.

All other leaders only followed this criminal policies, although they claimed there was a ´de-stalinization´, there was no such thing.

No one is blaming anyone

I simply asked to know what peoples opinions were. I know enough about the revolution and its leaders. I have my own opinion, but again, its other peoples opinion i would like.
