Rikbe,

I could watch historical movies about Rome all day. I feel I should be living there.

What I learned about histroy was living it from 1941 to now, and from movies, TV and books.

I am not sure that everyone else had the same opportunity of education.
But I can say the same as you, except I never played hockey.

Personally I am not interested in details of history but I am in explanations. What I mean is that it is not important to know WHEN Rome collapsed but WHY.
I am interested in detailes , but Rikbe is right.

To know the WHY is very important.

I have strong doubts about the historical value of historical movies.

hooky--hockey

Hello Rikbe

------------------
hook·y n. Informal. Absence without leave; truancy: play hooky from school.
----------------------------------------------------

hock·ey n. Sports. 1. Ice hockey. 2. Field hockey.
--------------------------------------------------------

I played hooky every other day, not hockey.

Historical --- history

Hello Rikby,

I know that historical movies are glorified and propagandized but so is history. Just for the sake of accuracy I am not going to sit down and read a history book.

We don't even know who shot Kennedy.

86% Been awhile since I had to remember that many events.
The question that got me was the 30 years war. I couldn't remeber if it was on the European Mainland or England. Needless to say, I got that one wrong.

Hello Everyone.

PS. Good Test
