Thanks for the site
Hey what's your opinion on the easiest way I can learn Russian? I really want to learn it, I fell in love with the language and the Country just a couple months ago. I just think the language is the most beautiful language in the world. So do you got any ideas on what would be the best way to learn it?
Thanks, Amanda. |

I would buy a little language learning kit. Make sure it has audio. "101 Languages of the World" is good. In the e-pals section you'll find lots of people who'd love to speak real Russian with you. Just ask.
The rest you will pick up if you're actually over there (just bring your notes). Don't be too worried because a lot of people over there speak English. |

Or alternatively, you could try this website...
http://masterrussian.com/index-2.shtml
Make a few friends there and ask for a native speaking Russian who is willing to correspond with you daily via email. That's where i learnt some basic Russian through correspondence. Although i still have a long way to go. Or you could also ask Alex_Ivanov from this forum who is a native Russian speaker. Perhaps he might have better suggestions on how to master the Russian language. Hope this helps.

Don't focus on speaking perfect Russian before you go or you'll never get there.
