Need Interpreter in Togliatti

Hello

I am in Togliatti for the summer and I am trying to find an interpreter. There were 3 students from the university who were helping me for free, but they went to the US for the summer.

I don't need a full-time interpreter, just occasionally. For example, I bought a fax machine from MVideo, and I couldn't get it work with the calling card. Naturally the store refused to take it back, even thuogh the clerk originally told me I could return it. I couldn't explain in good Russian what the problem was, because the manager kept saying, "It works!" I thought their policy was to accept all returns, but I guess not, because there was a small crowd of other unhappy people there, but the real problem was I couldn't explain about the machine not working with the calling card.

I would be happy to pay, and if you are student, you can improve your English from a writer.

Also, I have some old-style reel-to-reel tapes that I want to convert to CD or DVD foramt, I don't know where to start to look for that; and assorted other really important things, such as where to find iced tea mix and where to find raw popcorn. :-)

Also, the computer in my apartment needs expert help (to get the network to operate properly) and I need a PHP/MYSQL programmer, perhaps a student who is getting bored with the beach everyday, too. So I really am looking for two people.

Anyway, I would be happy wth just the part-time interpreter right now.

If you know someone who would be interpreter in Togliatti, please let me know. All of the people I know in Togliatti at the moment only speak Russian, and of course they have their own lives, are busy and must work everyday.

Jim

If you come to Russia, be sure to try "Sprotti" (Fish) they are delicious!
