That's a name of a new sweedish movie that just came out about a russian girl sold into sexual slavery, the review (New York Post) called it a stunner and said it will break your heart. Did anyone see it yet?

Iīm from sweden and I have of course seen the movie! It is made by a very talanted director named Lukas Modysson who has also made films about alienation in a wourld filled with prejudices. He is a very controversial filmmaker but he has a great audience -- which is unusual. Personaly I think that Lilja 4-ever is a very important film that shows us a different picture of Russia and that the world isnīt always as good as we (want to?) think it is. It forces us to not remain indifferent to whats going on outside our own closed doors. I guote the director: "Itīs a hopeful film"!

Thank you, lica, for that review. So, the hope is that other people will get involved in this and help stop it? Sorry, I haven't seen the film yet.

See the film, then you will understand what I mean! It is hopeful in so many ways, thatīs why I left the quote uncommented.
