"my name is alex"
well i didn't forgot the "i" but this is how clockwork orange movie starts, first let me apologize about not talking about russians movies, but movies is movies, a life rollin' infront of ur eyes, and good movies don't have nationality, once its on the cinema its not belonging to the director anymore, it belong to those who see their life in it, so to make a long intro even more longer, i would like to say that (and i'm talking about myself here) wzout movies life would be a big mistake, again i'm asking anyone who reads this PLZZZZZZZZ, tell me where to get these great movies from coz i'm in need of thosesgreat films inorder to continuo in our silly, piontless so called earth.
people of the world.... unite, to make it a little bit better.

You set to much store in movies. Try reading the book instead. 9 out of 10 times you'll like it better.

I feel sorry for you, when the 2 hours sitting like a zombie in front of the tv screen is up, you've got to return to your "big mistake" of a "silly pointless" life.

This is a great film, however I have to agree the book is better.
The thing about reading a book compared to seeing a film of it is you get to experince directly what the writer was saying without the influence of a director, actor, and the studio.

Plus the book contained a glossary of terms that would let the reader know what the heck they were talking about most of the time. They had their own vocabulary.

Aye their slang was based on Russian. When the film came out in the UK, a lot of lads started dressing like "droogs" and acting out the violence which is why the author was rather shocked and withdrew his permission for the film to be shown. Only recently after a few decades did they start to show it again but it looks rather dated now. The book, however, remains timeless.
