Question V Boi Idut Odni Stariki

I ordered this film off the internet, and have only watched a bit. It's about the Russian pilots of WWII, adn their awesome planes.
As I don't speak much Russian at the moment I have to pause the dvd and translate the (russian)subtitles to get the plot, can anyone give me a plot summary or something. So far I got to where Leonid Bykov comes back to the airfield with a stolen Messerschmidt, and then they start singing.

Dave.

Smrt:

HI! It's a slow process if you are self-taught...however, it's extremely fulfilling and you'll get some "bragging rights" too...I consider it a life-long endeavor.

If I'm motivated in the near future...I'll see if I can track down a useful, interactive & free site [link] for you to access....there are a couple amazing internet resources I should have taken [or should take] advantage of...
